Updating the Opti Mem™ Settings Application

This program will update any copy of OptiMem Settings before it from v2.0. You should also use the accompanying programs called OptiMem Update to update your Control Panel andOptiMem Preferences Update to install the new optimization parameters at this time.

•IMPORTANT• Some system extensions (such as virus protection software) and file sharing can interfere with the operation of the update programs. If they do not operate correctly, please disable all extensions (by restarting the computer while holding down the Shift key) and try again.

• After clicking on the Update Settings button, you will be asked to locate the copy of "OptiMem Settings" to be updated, using a standard Directory Dialog Box (for more information on using this see the documentation that came with your Macintosh® or System 7 software). Normally, this will be your currently installed copy which is located in the "Preferences" folder in the "System Folder" on your startup disk. We recommend that you do NOT update your original OptiMem Installation disk.

• To copy the text in this window to the clip board (to paste into another document for printing), click on the Copy Text  button.
